1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 tablespoons pine nuts
1⁄3 cup whole almonds 8 sage leaves
3 cups quinoa, cooked
salt and pepper
1/2 cup cranberries, fresh or frozen
- Heat oil and butter in a large sauté pan.
- Sauté onion until soft.
- Add nuts and sage, and cook until the pine nuts become golden brown.
- Stir in the quinoa, and season with salt and pepper.
- Add cranberries and stir until everything is warm.
