This is my favorite pasta ever!


There are many ways of making Carbonara, but this is the way I do it and I just love it.

Serves 4

6 egg yolks

3 tablespoons olive oil

1 cup grated parmesan + more for serving

salt and pepper

1 pound cooked warm pasta, I used spaghetti

1/2 cup crumbled crispy bacon

  1. In a bowl mix 2 egg yolks, oil, parmesan, a little salt and lots of pepper.
  2. Place the freshly cooked pasta in a bowl and add the sauce, mix well.
  3. Place the pasta in bowls and add bacon.
  4. Place an egg yolk on top of each portion and sprinkle with parmesan and pepper.
