This is my favorite pasta ever!
There are many ways of making Carbonara, but this is the way I do it and I just love it.
6 egg yolks
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 cup grated parmesan + more for serving
salt and pepper
1 pound cooked warm pasta, I used spaghetti
1/2 cup crumbled crispy bacon
- In a bowl mix 2 egg yolks, oil, parmesan, a little salt and lots of pepper.
- Place the freshly cooked pasta in a bowl and add the sauce, mix well.
- Place the pasta in bowls and add bacon.
- Place an egg yolk on top of each portion and sprinkle with parmesan and pepper.
